How’s the Energy in Your Closet?

April 9, 2016/0 Comments/in Bedroom, Common feng shui mistakes, Feng Shui Basics /by Glenda Feilen

bedrrom closetYou might think that if your closet door is closed it can’t affect the energy in your home. Energy is energy and just because it is out of sight, it is still energy and still in your house…and still affecting you and all who live there.

Here are some tips to help do a quick clean up of your closet:

  • Of course, you knew the first thing I am going to tell you to do is to get rid of the clutter. Do you have clutter on the floor, on the top of the closet, or anywhere except what is hanging.

When you open your closet and see a mess, it affects your energy as well as the energy of your home. Looking at clutter is a downer. Your closets hold the things that you wear on your body, that are part of how you present yourself, and are connected to your inner feelings about yourself. Your closets affect your self-esteem.

  • Whether you have clutter or not, make sure your closets have doors that close or are covered so that you don’t see in them.
  • Make sure it isn’t a dungeon. Light is an absolute necessity! Maybe you should paint it white so it looks clean and doesn’t look like a dark hole.
  • Get organized. Personally, I like to keep summer and winter clothes separate. I also keep tops and bottom separate. In each category I keep colors together. It’s such an easy and fast way to organize. It takes little time to accomplish and it makes deciding what to wear easy.

Take a quick look in your closet and see what you can improve on. You’ll look better and feel better and your closets won’t clog the energy in your home. Go ahead and give your closets some love!

Create Feng shui Balance in Each Room

You can actually feel the flow of energy in a balanced home by the relaxed, calm, happy and positive feelings you get when you enter or spend time there. The following are some suggestions to create balance in your house:

  • clutterClutter clogs

Clutter clogs the energy of your home. Positive, prosperous energy becomes stuck and is not able to flow through your home.
Clutter also clogs your mind and can even cause confusion and depression. Clutter accumulates because of the bad habit of not cleaning up after you are finished doing something and not having a specific place for everything in your home.

  • Decorate with love

Keep the energy in your home filled with love. It is best to keep weapons, pictures of weapons, dead animals, images of predatory animals, violent paintings, and such things as these out of your home. They attract conflict and  violent energy into your home. It is also important to place things in your home such as paintings that have images that bring in love. Also, decorations with sayings that bring in love energy.

When it comes to items having to do with love relationships that didn’t work out, you must release them and get rid of them. Until you do, they are holding your energy and preventing a new love from coming in.

  • Keep broom, mop, cleaning items, & trash bins out of site

You should be especially mindful not to have clutter or such things as this in any of your four personal magnetic directions where good energy is constantly flowing to you. A garbage can or cleaning items where you have your relationship energy, your goals, or health can take that positive energy that is flowing there to the energy trash bin. Get your 4 personal magnetic directions and how to use them here: https://fengshuiyourhomenow.com/success-direction/

  • Broken items

When an item is broken, the energy is changed and is no longer bringing you positive energy. Broken items draw broken things and people to you. When you release it, it can bring in something new. When you release the old, something new and better comes in.

  • 5 Elements in every room

Every room in your home is represented by a certain element. That element should be present in that room to activate that particular energy, however it is also important, in order to have a balanced energy in that room, to have all five elements present in some small way: fire, water, earth, metal, and wood.

  • Activate and cure yearly and monthly energy

Each month when the energy changes, quickly put in place the activations to enhance the prosperous energy and the cures to diminish the negative, dense areas. If you aren’t getting the newsletter, you can get your important monthly updates here:

March 12, 2016/0 Comments/in Common feng shui mistakes, Feng Shui Basics /by Glenda Feilen

Feng shui shouldn’t be confusing.

Feng Shui is not:

  • Just for Chinese people. If you were to walk in my home, you would not see Chinese trinkets anywhere. I use the energy ofcozy famioy room 4 the things I have in my home to bring in prosperity and to cure the unwanted energy.
  • A quick fix. It is a way to create a harmonious and balanced energy which over time attracts prosperity, happy relationships, and to ward of disasters and illness.
  • An interior decorating system. When you decorate, you should create positive energy with colors, textures, shapes, and designs, however it’s purpose is to redecorate your home.
  • Only for rich people. It doesn’t cost money to create harmonious energy I your home.
  • A religion. It’s an ancient science.
  • Magic or mysterious. It’s based on energy, the substance of the universe. You are always exchanging energy with the things and people around you.

So what IS Feng shui:

The name may be a little confusing because it isn’t the English language. Feng shui means wind and water. These are two of nature’s elements that circulate and flow everywhere in nature and carry energy. Everything…. plants, animals, people, you, and everything in this universe is constantly swirling with energy. Energy is the part of you that allows you be alive and breathe. Your body allows you to flow the energy that you were born with and to constantly exchange that energy with other people and things around you.

Feng Shui lets you create the personal environment in your home according to the same balanced energy principles that flow through the universe in a way that allows prosperity, happy relationships, good health to flow into the room so your house.

Happy Feng shuing! Glenda
