Create Feng shui Balance in Each Room

You can actually feel the flow of energy in a balanced home by the relaxed, calm, happy and positive feelings you get when you enter or spend time there. The following are some suggestions to create balance in your house:

  • clutterClutter clogs

Clutter clogs the energy of your home. Positive, prosperous energy becomes stuck and is not able to flow through your home.
Clutter also clogs your mind and can even cause confusion and depression. Clutter accumulates because of the bad habit of not cleaning up after you are finished doing something and not having a specific place for everything in your home.

  • Decorate with love

Keep the energy in your home filled with love. It is best to keep weapons, pictures of weapons, dead animals, images of predatory animals, violent paintings, and such things as these out of your home. They attract conflict and  violent energy into your home. It is also important to place things in your home such as paintings that have images that bring in love. Also, decorations with sayings that bring in love energy.

When it comes to items having to do with love relationships that didn’t work out, you must release them and get rid of them. Until you do, they are holding your energy and preventing a new love from coming in.

  • Keep broom, mop, cleaning items, & trash bins out of site

You should be especially mindful not to have clutter or such things as this in any of your four personal magnetic directions where good energy is constantly flowing to you. A garbage can or cleaning items where you have your relationship energy, your goals, or health can take that positive energy that is flowing there to the energy trash bin. • Broken items

When an item is broken, the energy is changed and is no longer bringing you positive energy. Broken items draw broken things and people to you. When you release it, it can bring in something new. When you release the old, something new and better comes in.

  • 5 Elements in every room

Every room in your home is represented by a certain element. That element should be present in that room to activate that particular energy, however it is also important, in order to have a balanced energy in that room, to have all five elements present in some small way: fire, water, earth, metal, and wood.

  • Activate and cure yearly and monthly energy

Each month when the energy changes, quickly put in place the activations to enhance the prosperous energy and the cures to diminish the negative, dense areas. If you aren’t getting the newsletter, you can get your important monthly updates here:

amusing-yellow-kitchen-walls-white-cabinetsYellow is a cheerful color and a delight in most places in your home. It wakes up the room like adding sunshine or light to the room.

It brings in uplifting vibrations and brightens the room. It also brings in warmth and creates a cozy and welcoming feeling. It is good for health and makes any kitchen feel like a place you want to hang out. It lifts the energy and keep the corners of the room from collecting dark, dense, energy. The yellow vibration supports personal self worth.

There are many shades of yellow from soft butter yellow to a hot fire yellow. When using the hot fire yellow, it is important to use it in smaller amounts so as not to overload the area with fire energy.

Yellow can be used nicely in the following areas:

  • Center (Heart of your home)
  • South (Reputation and Recognition
  • Southwest (Love, Romance, and Marriage)
  • Northeast (Spiritual Growth)
  • East (Health and Family)
  • West (Creativity and Children)
  • Southeast (Income and Prosperity)
  • Northwest (Helpful people)

Find a place to brighten you home with yellow decorations, carpet, drapes, painting, or flowers.

Feng shui Tips for Where to Place Your Sofa

November 8, 2015/0 Comments/in Common feng shui mistakes, Feng Shui Basics, Feng Shui for Health, Feng Shui for Love, Feng Shui for Money, Feng Shui for Stress /by Glenda Feilen
Your sofa is energy

Your sofa is energy

Your Sofa is one of the most important pieces of furniture in your living room or family room. You want the energy of your sofa to be perfect for the comfort and harmony in your home.

Here are few Feng shui tips and things to keep in mind about where to place your sofa:

1) Don’t place your sofa directly facing the main door. This can create diminished prosperity. If you must do this, put a plant or a small piece of furniture between the sofa and your front door to break up the energy rushing in your front door. This will protect those sitting on it. It is perfectly okay if the couch faces the door of a room, but not the front entry door.

2) It’s best not to have a light directly above the sofa hanging from the roof or to have the sofa located under a beam. It’s also best not to place a mirror behind the sofa. Sometimes people do this to make the room look bigger. If you do this, take good look what it is reflecting. It is something that will enhance the energy and prosperity in your home? You could be enhancing things that are good or bad.

3) A good place for a sofa is against the wall because it gives you support. By placing the sofa against the window or door, there is no support for sofa. A second sofa or smaller one can have a window behind it. Also important to remember is that you do not put a fish tank behind the sofa.

4) Avoid too many pieces of furniture for the size of your room causing the living room to become crowded. In a crowded room the energy gets stagnant and blocked, creating obstacles to success for your family members

5) The shape of sofa is also important  as the sofa places such a key role in living room. L-shaped couches are not the best. A U-shaped or semi-circular shaped coach can help you retain more good energy. Of course a rectangle couch is also acceptable.
