Feng Shui is the study of the energy between the environment and human life. Discovered by the Chinese, Feng Shui has been practiced for centuries to enhance success. Feng Shui is as important and beneficial to us today as it was thousands of years ago.
Feng Shui determines that all creatures are part of nature’s natural order, and are part of a vast environment that is constantly moving and changing. Everything is alive and has energy. Therefore, everything — plants, animals, things, and people exist in a vast environment of energy. Your own body is the part of the environment in the vast universal energy flow.
Feng Shui allows you to design your personal environment according to the universal principles of energy. The energy in your bedroom, your kitchen, your bedroom, at your front door, and every room of your house is part of that energy. How you feel in these rooms is based on the exchange of your energy and the energy in the rooms in your home.
Everything from the colors, the placement and shape of your furniture, the light, the clutter, and everything in your home sends out energy vibrations, which all create either a positive or negative energy – which attract things similar to the energy they are vibrating outward. They either attract money, positive relationships, and happiness to you or the energy in your rooms is blocking those things.
Starting with the energy of your front door, where prosperous energy flows into your home, you can create the energy to welcome it or block it. Your entryway and front door area should be light, well painted, clean and cheery, with no overgrown or dead plants, or clutter. The house numbers should be easily read. When you walk in, there should be an open space which will allow the energy to flow inward, rather than something such as a piece of furniture blocking the energy. There should be no mirror facing the door to push back the abundant energy.
Every room in your house can bring you abundance or lack, happy relationships or quarreling, health or illness.
As the energy flows through the house, you want every room to be balanced and filled with harmony, which is easy to accomplish when you follow the universal principles of the universe, Feng shui.
