To see how Feng shui smart you are, remember to answer the questions before you look at the answers below!

1. As long as the inside of your home has balanced Feng shui,

does it really matter what your front door and entry way look like?

2. Why is clutter bad?

3. Is it really important to Feng shui a child’s bedroom?

4. Aquariums and bubbling fountains can attract prosperity if they are in the right place in your home. True or False

 5. The best front door color should be determined by one thing. What is it?

6.Mirrors can change the whole energy of your home however they should never be placed at the entryway of your home. True or False

 7. Fruit on the dining room table creates wealth. Mirrors reflecting the table are a good way to enhance that energy? True or False

8. A mirror opposite the bed can have a negative influence a person’s relationship energy. True or False

9. There are 3 different ways to bring in or cure the energy of an element o activate or enhance a good energy in your home. What are they?

ANSWERS

1. Of course it does! The front door and entryway is one of the two most important places in your home. It is the mouth of your house where energy rushes in. Make it a welcoming place or good energy will be pushed away.

2. Clutter clogs. It stop good energy from flowing to you. It prevents prosperity and good relationships from being attracted to you. Clear the clutter and new, positive things will flow to you.

 3. Do children have energy? Are they affected by the energy in a room the way adults are. YES-even more so than adults. They are extremely sensitive to the environment around them.

4. Yes – Water flows in prosperity. The best places for the water element in your home are in the North and Northeast.

 5. It is the direction the front door is facing. What element does that area represent? Choose a color that represents that element. For example, if your door faced Southwest or Northeast, those areas are represented by the earth element; so good colors to welcome prosperous energy into your home would be earth brown, earth yellow, earth beige.  Every door direction and their colors are explained in my 4 video series where I walk through homes room by room. Feng shui the Easiest Way

6. Mirrors change the whole atmosphere of the home and should be avoided in entrance areas. A mirror reflecting the door will push the positive energy coming in backward and prevent it from entering.

 7. Mirrors in the dining room that reflect food or fruits on the table, symbolize the doubling of wealth.

 8. A mirror opposite the bed can negatively influence a couple’s relationship and can even cause night mares. ‘

 9. The three ways you can enhance an area with positive energy or to cure an area with negative energy are: 1) the best is the actual element itself; such are a bubbling fountain for the water element or a crystal for the earth element. 2) The color with the same vibration or energy of the element. 3) The shape that represents the element such as a flowing pattern for water or a circle for the metal element.

2. The best position of your bed for a good night’s sleep, as well as receiving good energy at night while you sleep, is based on what?

3. What are two things can you do in your bathroom to cut down on the negative energy?

4. What is Feng shui?

5. What is ‘Chi’ (pronounced ‘chee’ in English)?

6.  The theories of Yin and Yang, as well as the five Feng shui elements, are some of the basic aspects of a Feng shui. When you place one of the 5 elements (fire, water, earth metal wood) in an area of your home, what does it do?

7. If there are potted plants in the bedroom, for the best energy and relaxing sleep, would it be best to remove them?

 8. Do you still need to Feng shui the missing areas in your home?

9. In which area of your home is your money center located?

10. Is it okay to have your feet facing the door when you sleep?

          ANSWERS:

  1. Feng means wind and shui means water. In Chinese culture wind and water are associated with good health, therefore good Feng shui came to mean good fortune, while bad Feng shui means bad luck, or misfortune.

2. The crown of your head should be against one of your four personal magnetic directions, which are based on your personal birthday and gender.

3. Stop the drain of good energy and money by keeping the lid to the commode and the bathroom door closed.

4. Feng shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure good health, prosperity, and harmony for people inhabiting it.

5. Chi is energy – the movable positive or negative energy forces that play an essential role in the energy of everything in the universe.

6. It will enhance or enlarge the energy there. If it a good energy residing in that area it will attract more of it. If it is a negative energy residing in that area, you want to place a ‘cure’, not an enhancement, so that it will diminish that energy. That is why you subscribe to my monthly newsletter – so that you know what to put in each of the 9 compass areas of your home. It’s less than $2.00 a month!

7. For the most part, yes. Plants give off an active energy that can make it difficult to sleep, however a small fresh flower bouquet or a small plant will not give off too active of an energy. Large plants do not belong in the bedroom Silk plants are really beautiful in the bedroom.

 8. Yes – absolutely! Missing areas are places that are in your floor plan but are outside, such as a patio. They are part of your floor plant and should be included in your Feng shui.

9. The South East is your Money corner. It is represented by the wood element. Have a small plant to enlarge the energy there and a small fountain. Also, place something gold and something that represents money there.

10. No – Energy rushing in the door should not be directly flowing to you, feet or head or anywhere.  In my LifeFreedom system (Volume 3) all directions are illustrated and explained.

Wondering where to put pictures of people?

Family picutre and feng shui

Love your family but keep them out of your bedroom

* The two places where you don’t want to put pictures of people are in the two rooms with energy, which is either flushed or constantly going down the drain. Those rooms are the bathroom and the kitchen. Any other rooms in your home or office will work. Below are some suggestions for specific types of pictures or photographs.

* Personal, couple and romantic pictures go well in the bedroom, however if you don’t want your family in your personal bedroom business, don’t put family pictures in that room.

Energetically they will be watching you.

* Pictures can go in one of the personal magnetic directions of the individual itself. If you don’t know what they are, get them FREE here: Personal Success Direction
* Any and all family pictures are great in the East, which is the direction that represents FAMILY.

* mother child shiraMother, grandmother, daughter pictures can go in the Southwest since it represents matriarchy, motherhood, and female energy.
* Pictures of children can go in the West since that direction represents children and creative energy.

* Males, sons, fathers, and grandfathers go well in the Northwest area since that area  represents male energy, fathers, sons, and male mentors.
* If you are single and looking for relationship, glamorous pictures of yourself all over the house will not bring romance. It tells the universe I LOVE ME and ME ALONE!
